MEDIA TO TOUR J.I.C.A’s PROGRAM SITES TOMORROW

The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be doing a media tour to its program sites tomorrow.

The tour is to provide first-hand knowledge about the Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) programs to journalists for the people of Solomon Islands.

It will also focus on introducing JOCV programs through site visits by JICA volunteers to be able to commemorate its 50th anniversary.

A JICA statement said the sites visited will be the Rove Police Headquarters, National Referral Hospital Rehabilitation Division, and the National Medical store in Honiara.

The Honiara City Council and the Koloale Community High School will also be visited tomorrow.

Japanese Ambassador to Solomon Islands His Excellency Kenichi Kimiya and Permanent Secretary of Public Service, Nego Sisiolo will be presenting speeches at an orientation program to be held at the JICA office tomorrow morning.
