2015 FORM SIX PLACEMENTS RELEASED
The 2015 Form Six placement have been released today by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development.
Minister for Education and Human Resource Development Dr. Derek Sikua signed the release of the 2015 Form Six placement in the presence of his Permanent Secretary and the Director of the National Examination Standard Unit.
The transitional rate for Form six placements this year shows 17 percent of students secured a place in the seventh form with good grades compared to last year but a limited number of Form Seven schools.
Minister Sikua says the Ministry of Education through the government should explore ways to increase the number of Form Seven schools in the country.
“I’m thinking that we as a ministry through the government must seriously explore the ways in which we can increase the Form Seven places so that, as you have mentioned, other students who have performed very well but because of the limited number of Form Seven they who have no places at Form Seven could have a place.”
The Minister adds he expects the standard of Form Six students will increase adding that creating more Form Seven schools will be an advantage.
