RESOURCES OWNERS URGED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF RESOURCES

Malaita Premier Peter Ramohia has urged resource owners to take advantage of development opportunities provided by the National Government to develop their resources.
Premier Ramohia made the call at a consultation meeting between a Government scoping team and landowning tribes at Bina Harbour onWednesday.
Premier Ramohia said Malaitans should be proud to be prioritised by the government on major economic projects and should exploit the opportunity to develop the Bina Harbour project.
He adds the Provincial Government has put Bina Harbour as one of its priority projects.
The Malaita Premier encouraged Malaitans to make use of the opportunity and demonstrate the capabilities needed to achieve these developments.
About 200 of five landowning tribes in the Bina area attended the meeting where they expressed firm support for the project.
