VARIOUS ISSUES UP FOR DISCUSSION IN BUSINESS FORUM
A wide range of national issues ranging from the economy to infrastructure development is amongst key subjects to be discussed in the historic Australia Solomon Islands Business Forum and Business Mission in Honiara Mid June.
Chairman of the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce, Tony Koraua confirms guests for the weeklong forum have been booked at the Heritage Park Hotel.
The Forum will focus on identifying the issues which need to be addressed to improve the business enabling environment in Solomon Islands and to create sustainable economic growth.
A statement about the meeting explains, the decision to hold the Forum in Solomon Islands responds to strong support for the Forum which has been given to the events held in Brisbane by business in Solomon Islands (SICCI) and successive Governments.
Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare will deliver the keynote address during the forum to be attended by a representative from the Australian Government.
The Forum proper will be held from June 15th – 19th.
