DAUSABEA QUESTIONED DELAY OF FLIGHTS TO GWAUNARU’U
A Malaita man has called on the Solomon Airlines to speed up the resumption of flights to Gwaunaru’u airport in Malaita province since the airport reopens its Malaita Service.
Charles Dausabea made the call today, saying issues concerning the airport have been settled and people need to use the airline service to the province.
He questioned the Solomon Airlines’ further delay to resume flights to Gwaunaru’u airport.
It is understood, the Civil Aviation Authority has conducted a check of the airport and has recommended a fence be built around the airport to meet Civil Aviation standards.
SIBC News hopes to run a response from the Airlines in its later bulletin.
