HONIARA RUGBY UNION TO HOST FOUR WEEKS CHAMPIONSHIP

The Honiara Rugby Union Association will host a four-weeks championship next month.

A meeting by the Association yesterday confirmed two pools for the tournament.

This Saturday’s opener at 2:30pm will see Marist Rugby team making a comeback and will play the Luapel rugby team.

On Sunday at 2:30pm will see 2014 defending champion Matangiki rugby team play Avaiki rugby team in a repeat of last year’s final.

The top two teams will cross to play semi-finals and then finals.

Registration is due next Wednesday and games will continue on Tuesday and Wednesday the following week.
