CARE CENTRE RECEIVED NEW BUILDING
The Christian Care Centre (CCC) has finally received a newly built Rainbow Wing Building from World Vision Australia recently.
A statement from World Vision Australia said the building provides extra rooms and facilities at the Centre where victims and survivors of gender-based violence in the country can be accommodated.
The new wing will increase the Centre’s capacity by almost 30 beds and offer a dedicated space for teenagers and young girls.
Meanwhile, World Vision Australia is pleased with the project completion prior to the start of 16 Days of Activism against gender-based violence (GBV) today.
The project emerges from close collaboration between World Vision and Christian Care Centre since 2013 as part of their Channels of Hope (CoH) project.
