POLICE WARNS BEACH GOERS TO BE CAREFUL AFTER CROCODILE SIGHTED AT NORTHWEST GUADALCANAL
Police is warning the public to be careful when going out to the beaches after a crocodile was sighted at Hammock beach in North Guadalcanal last Sunday.
In a Police media statement, people were advised to remain at shore to avoid any crocodile attack.
It says, it is now dangerous to go swimming especially where the reptile was sighted.
”Stay ashore to avoid any possible crocodile attack. It is very dangerous to go out swimming, especially to those living around the area where the crocodile was sighted. Many have already been a victim and lives lost due to these dangerous reptile attacks.”
Police urges the public to report any sighting of crocodiles to a nearest police station.
