The Solomon Islands Council of trade Union is delighted to extend its warmest congratulations to the National Provident Fund (NPF) Board on announcing a 4 percent dividend for the closing year.

This commendable achievement is a testament to the dedication, strategic vision, and prudent management of the NPF Board and Management.

“We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to the hardworking employees of NPF and all its subsidiaries, whose unwavering commitment and exceptional service have contributed significantly to the success of the Fund. It is through their collective efforts that the NPF members are able to benefit from this dividend.”

“ We hope that this positive outcome will serve as motivation for all employees to continue their exemplary work and dedication to further elevate the performance and success of NPF.”

Meanwhile, SITCU reminds the NPF board to remind employers to ensure they pay members contribution on time so that members don’t lose out on interests they are entitled to when declared.

The NPF board on 30 September announced a 4-percent crediting rate to its members for the financial year ending 30th June 2024.

This means that a total interest of $128, 726, 582 will be credited to all members’ accounts.

An $8,500 was also announced for this year’s special death benefit.
