SADE NEW MINISTER FOR PUBLIC SERVICE
The Government for National Unity and Transformation (GNUT) has been strengthened with the swearing-in of the new Minister for Public Service, Honorable Francis Sade, MP.
Minister Sade was sworn in today before the Governor-General, David Tiva Kapu, at Government House.
Minister Sade’s swearing-in ceremony was witnessed by the Prime Minister, Honorable Jeremiah Manele, MP, and the Deputy Prime Minister, Honorable Bradley Tovosia, MP.
Also witnessing the ceremony were the parliamentary wing leader of the People First Party and Minister of Aviation, Honorable Frederick Kologeto, MP; the Minister of Infrastructure and Development, Honorable Manasseh Maelanga, MP; the Deputy Chairlady of Caucus, Honorable Cathy Nori, MP; and other senior government officials.
Sade’s appointment will ensure continuity and, most importantly, task him with the implementation of government policies under the 2025 budget.
Prior to his ministerial appointment, Honorable Sade served as the Deputy Speaker of the National Parliament.
GNUT is committed to political stability because it believes that stable leadership is essential for the government to implement its transformative projects and programs.
The Governor General also revoked the appointment of former Public Service Minister Honorable John Junior Tuhaika who is now an ordinary Member of Parliament.
