People from East Kwaio in Malaita Province are expressing their security concern over what they describe as low police visibility in their areas.

Luke Maesifi says they raised the concern as some communities in their areas are remotely located.

“Our concern is that if police can come and visit the election booths during the election process it would be good, because at the moment we hardly see the presence of police around as a good number of people in town have turned up to participate in this election.”
