CHIEF URGED PEOPLE TO REFRAIN FROM DISTURBANCES
Paramount Chief of Burns Creek Community in East Honiara Peter Usi is calling on Burns Creek Community to refrain from causing any disturbances during the election of the Prime Minister.
Chief Usi told SIBC News citizens of the community, especially youths must refrain from involving in any disturbances.
He says this is important as the only way forward is for all citizens to support any new government mandated by the parliament to lead the country after Tuesday.
“Today I want to say to us the whole country, especially those of us who are living at the Burnscreek area not attempt any problems. Have a clear and understandable mind today and onwards to work together with the nation.”
The Governor General Sir Frank Ofagioro Kabui has appointed Tomorrow as the date for the Prime Minster’s election.
