POLICIES MUST REFLECT CHANGING CHALLENGES: PM SOGAVARE

Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare says it is important that the policies and development programs of the Democratic Coalition For Change Government (DCCG) reflect the changing challenges to Solomon Islands internal economy presented by the changing dynamics of the world economy.
Prime Minister Sogavare made this comment today while launching the DCCG Policy Framework in Honiara.
He says his government will be vigilant against these changing circumstances and will not hesitate to change its policy priorities.
“Solomon Islands, as we have witnessed in April 2014, is vulnerable to national disasters and for which governments and any government unavoidably have to restore public goods and services and to support the return of affected people back to their normal lives. My Government will be vigilant against these changing circumstances and will not hesitate to change our policy priorities. We’re warranted to protect our economy, our investments and the well-being of our people.”
