CBSI GEARS UP FOR GLOBAL POLICY FORUM
The Central Bank of Solomon Islands (CBSI) gears up to attend the Alliance for Financial Inclusion Global Policy Forum in Nadi, Fiji early next month.
The Forum focuses on the development and improvement of national financial inclusion strategies and policies and is used as a platform for senior financial regulators to exchange ideas and engage in peer-to-peer learning activities.
Solomon Islands is among other leaders alongside Fiji and other regional countries that engage actively in Financial Inclusion activities.
CBSI’s Communications Officer Uriel Matagani confirms in CBSI’s Money Matter’s Program, the delegation will be led by the Bank’s Governor, Denton Rarawa.
“Governor Denton Rarawa will be leading the delegation to Nadi, Fiji in early September to take part in the Alliance for Financial Inclusion Global Policy Forum which every member countries around the world and different regions will be attending in Fiji.”
The theme for this year’s forum is “Building the Pillars of Sustainable Inclusion.”
