DONATED AGRICULTURE TOOLS TO BENEFIT SCHOOLS
Around 2-hundred secondary school students across the country have benefited from a government donation of agriculture equipment and tools.
A Government statement says the project is worth over 12-million Solomon dollars and involves distributing pre-packed agriculture equipment and tools, consisting of 21 different items.
The project is expected to solve problems of the lack of basic tools and equipment in four practical subjects offered at the secondary level – these include Agriculture, Home Economics, Technology and Science.
The project is funded by the Australian and New Zealand governments.
