Duidui Provincial Assembly Ward Election is set for tomorrow

Duidui Ward in South Guadalcanal Constituency, Guadalcanal ProvinceĀ  is set for tomorrow’s Election Day. Polls will begin at 7am till 4 pm.

A total of six candidates will be contesting in the election.

All polling officers have been trained and are already stationed at the respective 9 polling stations.

Officers from the Solomon Islands Electoral Office Headquarters were also deployed to assist the Returning and Assistant Returning Officers for the election.

Once polling is completed, all ballot boxes will be retrieved to Honiara via a chartered ship in the early morning of 17 July, with counting to follow upon arrival and as soon as practicable at the Guadalcanal Province Headquarter, Ritaleven Building.

The Solomon Islands Electoral Commission calls on all registered voters for the ward to come out, cast their votes, and have their voice heard in electing their provincial representative for the Guadalcanal Provincial Assembly.

The Duidui Ward provincial assembly was previously set for the 10th of July however due to bad weather; it was postponed to July 16th, 2024 which is tomorrow.
