ELECTORAL COMMISSION BRIEFING STARTS THIS WEEK

The Electoral Commission Office will begin its briefing for its Assistant Registration Officers, ARO and Data Officers this week.

The three day briefing takes place in Honiara starting on Wednesday, ahead of this year’s National General Elections.

The Electoral Commission Media Officer, Jimmy Isu confirms the briefing, adding the officers will be deployed to various constituencies to carry out the actual voter registration.

“Deployment should be done before number 27 January before the actual registration begins. So those working as ARO data collectors should be at their respective provinces before 27 January,” Mr. Isu said.
