FORMER AUDITOR GENERAL’s CASE ADJOURNED
The High Court has again adjourned hearing the case of the country’s former Auditor General Edward Ronia.
His case was listed for a hearing Wednesday this week, but it was adjourned by his lawyer.
The case has been listed for mention instead for 3rd December.
This is the second time the case was adjourned from a hearing.
It was listed earlier for a hearing in July this year but was adjourned because there were no judges available at that time.
Mr. Ronia is seeking a judicial review on the Public Service Commission’s decision to terminate him.
He was advised by the commission to leave his job late last year on the ground that he was over the official retirement age of 55.
