Non Government Organization representatives have completed a four days workshop on gender discrimination and inequalities on communities in Solomon Islands.
The workshop participants discussed specific concepts of non discrimination and equality and changes participants can apply in communities with new information.
Adventist Development Relief Agency, ADRA Project Officer Rinnah Solomon said the workshop is valuable for community programmes as the participants plan to ensure effective participation of disadvantaged groups and address discrimination in communities.
The workshop is an activity of the EU and facilitated by the Secretariat of the Pacific Community Regional Rights Resource Team in partnership with ADRA.
