GRCLC TRIBAL AWARENESS FOR GOLD RIDGE MINE PROJECT
The Gold Ridge Community and Landowners Council (GRCLC) has launched a strategic tribal awareness initiative, geared towards fostering an informed and engaged tribal community.
The focus is on building a positive relationship with the Gold Ridge Mine Project, emphasizing transparency, accountability and collaboration.
Chairman Dick Douglas announced the upcoming series of 16 tribal awareness meetings, each dedicated to a specific tribe and to be hosted at designated community venues.
The joint Strategic tribal awareness between GRCLC and the Gold Ridge Mining Limited [GRML] is expected to start on Monday 12th February 2024.
“I’m pleased to confirm the meeting dates for all 16 tribes. The awareness is set to start on Monday 12th February 2024. The plan has been finalized and notices have been posted in our communities,” said Douglas.
The objectives of these tribal meetings are multi-faceted, primarily centered around disseminating crucial information related to the Gold Ridge Mine project.
“Key topics such as imminent royalty payments, project updates, and open dialogues with tribal members are integral components of the agenda,” stated Douglas.
GRCLC’s overarching goal is to ensure tribal members are thoroughly informed about the project and its future plans. The initiative seeks to enhance understanding and encourage active engagement with tribal members in ongoing and future initiatives.
“We are committed to not only informing but also empowering our tribal members,” added Douglas.
The fundamental outcome envisaged is a well-informed tribal community, and to gauge the success of this initiative, post-awareness surveys will be conducted to measure the level of understanding among tribal members.
GRCLC remains steadfast in its commitment to strengthening bonds with tribal communities, cultivating a positive environment, and championing transparency in all dealings related to the Gold Ridge Mine Project.
