GUADALCANAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY TO DISCUSS RUAVATU’S SECURITY
The Guadalcanal Education Authority with its key stakeholders will discuss ways to secure the Ruavatu Secondary School this Sunday.
Guadalcanal Provincial Education Authority Chief Education Officer Maesac Suia told SIBC News.
Mr Suia said the discussion expects to involve the Guadalcanal Education Authority, the Police and the surrounding communities.
“We will meet with the police to look at what the community can do as well as what we from the office can be able to do to determine the future of the school, whether it will resume next year or look at the best available options to us and the communities.”
Mr Suia adds following the meeting, his office expects to submit a report to the Guadalcanal Education Board to make the finally decision about the school.
“After that meeting on Sunday I will return to put together reports and then present to the Guadalcanal Education Board which has the mandate to decide on our big schools.”
