H.C.C COUNCILLORS INDUCTED

Honiara City Councillors (HCC) have been inducted.
The induction early this week was part of the 100 days program of the Council of the election of the newly elected members.
The Leadership Code Commission Chairman and his officers witnessed the program.
City Mayor Alference Inoga Fatai said the invitation of the LCC was specifically, to brief the Councillors about their role as leaders.
Meanwhile, the LCC Chairman Francis Cecil Luza says it is important that the Councillors are thoroughly informed of the Leadership Code.
Mr Luza said, as leaders they are expected to abide by the leadership Code outlined in both the Constitution (sections 94 and 95) and the Leadership Code (Further Provisions) Act, 1999.
The Chairman further states that the Leadership Code is to assist every leader including Honiara City Councillors to keep them on track with their duties.
