The High Court is yet to set a hearing date against the Chief Executive Officer of Ports Authority for contempt of Court.

The Solomon Islands National Union of Workers filed the case on behalf of 16 workers the Ports CEO Collin Yow, terminated late April this year.

The Union claims, Mr Yow refused to adhere to a High Court order for the workers to be reinstated.

The Union also claims Mr Yow breached section 10 of the Trade Disputes Panel Act because he terminated the workers when the matter is still before the Trade Disputes Panel.

The case appeared before the Court for mention last two weeks, but no date was fixed.
