LANDOWNERS CALLED FOR PAYMENT OF OUTSTANDING BILLS

Landowners of Guadalcanal Plain Palm Oil Limited have called on Guadalcanal Plains Resources Development Association to pay up their outstanding bills.

Paramount chief of Thibo Tribe and Land trustee of GPPOL Benedict Garimane said the Guadalcanal Resource Development Association failed to pay 8-point-5 Million dollars in lease payment in 2013.

Chief Garimane says the Association also failed to pay this month’s dividend payment to land owners.

SIBC News understands the Association office is currently closed on a court order as the Association failed to present the 2008 to 2013 financial report.
