MAELANGA DONATED TO SAN ISIDRO & CHRISTIAN CARE

Acting Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga has donated $50,000 each to San Isidro Disability Centre in West Guadalcanal and the Christian Care Centre at Tenaru.
Acting PM Maelanga personally raised a sum of $100,000 during Malaysia’s 59th Independence Anniversary last week.
Mr Maelanga was the chief guest at the event when he was asked to sing the famous “Wakabaot Long China Town” backed by the Cowboy’s Grill In-House Band from the Philippines.
The cash donation was made by Mrs Ging, the wife of the Honorary Consul-General of Malaysia in Solomon Islands Mr Hii Yii Ging.
Mr Maelanga is thankful to the Malaysian Community in Honiara for the donation.
The Malaysian Community also donated $420,000 to other charitable organisations in Honiara.
