A collective land use consultation process is anĀ important avenue for land-based development in the country.

Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Augustine Auga made the statement at a National Land Use Policy Workshop in Honiara this week.

Minister Auga said Solomon Islands can only develop the best land use policy through a comprehensive stakeholder consultation process.

“It is only through such a comprehensive stakeholder consultation process that we would be able to develop the best land use policy possible for Solomon Islands.”

The two-day workshop ended today.
