The Reference center which was fully funded by the World Trade Organization (WTO) at a cost of more than SBD$100,000.00 is purposely to provide Government officials, business and the academic institutions with a dedicated physical location where any relevant information on the WTO can be accessed.

A statement from the Government Communications Unit says the WTO Reference Center’s Program enables the benefiting countries to have in their ministries or regional organizations or secretariats, a regular, updated direct and privileged link to the WTO headquarters in Geneva.
