President of the People’s Alliance Party (PAP) Sir Nathaniel Waena has acknowledged voters from the constituencies which the party had fielded candidates.

Speaking to SIBC News today, Sir Nathaniel said the party acknowledges the voters of all 33 constituencies PAP candidates contested in yesterday.

“We the party would like to thank voters of the 33 constituencies in which PAP has placed its candidates and where they managed to go through the elections, we would like to thank the voters who voted in these 33 constituencies.”

The Party President also expressed gratitude to PAP candidates for their hard work in yesterday’s election.

“Candidates thank you so much for flying the Alliance Party symbol, which is Coconut on Election day. We would like to say thank you very much for your hard work in the constituencies that you are representing and we would like to say thank you very much for your understanding so that we can be able to reach the election day yesterday.”

Meanwhile, Sir Nathaniel Waena has appealed to all of the PAP candidates and their supporters to stay calm during the current counting period.
