PARLIAMENT RESUMED AFTER BLC CONCLUDES HEARING INTO BILLS
Parliament Resumes tomorrow after the Bills and Legislation Committee (BLC) concludes hearing on two more Bills over the weekend.
The BLC hearing concluded on Saturday 23rd April.
The Parliament Media Unit reports, the Anti-corruption Bill and the Whistle Blowers Bill were the last to be heard.
This means some Bills are now deemed to go for second reading, committee stage and third reading in Parliament next week.
Meanwhile, as set out in tomorrow’s Provisional Paper The ‘Land and Titles (Amendment) Bill 2016’ is set for second reading as well as Committee Stage and is expected to also go through Third Reading.
Parliament was specially adjourned last Tuesday to allow the BLC to complete hearing on the Bills.
