Honiara, Solomon Islands – As we approach February, excitement continues to build for the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant 2025, set to take place in Honiara from February 1st to February 8th. With just two weeks remaining before the arrival of the contestants, preparations are in full swing for what promises to be a prestigious and  unforgettable event.

Arrival and departure schedules for the queens and their delegations are being finalized, with accommodations secured to guarantee comfort. The “bump-in” period on January 30th and 31st will see the arrival of contestants and their delegations. In addition to the contestants, we expect a large number of supporters, including family members and fans, traveling to Honiara for the event.

While they will manage their own arrangements, we are extending courtesies to assist with logistics as part of our role as the host nation. The event schedule is shaping up to provide an engaging and unforgettable experience for all participants and audiences. Details on the three main programs are as follows:

• Speech Day – Thursday, February 6th, at AJ Mall

– We are excited to confirm that this is an opportunity for the public to witness the Queens discuss topics they will select upon arrival. We encourage everyone to come and experience this thoughtprovoking event.

• Float Parade – Friday, February 7th.
– The Float Parade is shaping up beautifully, with enthusiastic support from local communities including Samoan, Tongan, and Kiribati communities. Their involvement is vital in preparing culturally rich floats to represent the visiting queens.

– The Float Parade Market Day Sales have been very successful. Few vendor spaces for the day are still available for those who wish to be part of this festive occasion. Interested vendors are encouraged to register their spot for only $100 at MSIP Office, Room 42, NPF Plaza.

• Crowning Night – Saturday, February 8th.

Specific details for each program will be released soon to ensure the public can fully participate in this momentous celebration. Tickets for the event are in high demand, with tables for the crowning night nearly sold out. This is a family-friendly event, offering an incredible opportunity for all to witness the cultural richness and talent of the Pacific region. We encourage the public not to miss this prestigious occasion.

Volunteers are being mobilized to support various aspects of the event, from logistics, hospitality, and various other event needs.
