ROTARY AUSTRALIA HELP BOOST SCHOOL ADMINISTRATIONS
Printing, copying and other administrative problems will be a thing of the past for a number schools in the Western province – following a recent visit from members of the Australian Rotary Club.
The Rotary Club team visited seven primary schools and a college in the Roviana lagoon.
All the schools received printing and copying machines, as well as books, generators and roofing iron from the Australian Rotary Club.
SIBC’s Gina Maka, currently in the Western Province, confirms the Australian Rotary Club visited and donated the equipment last week.
“Schools receiving generators, photocopy and printing machines are Ha’apai primary school, Biula College, Nusa Roviana primary school, Baorulu primary school and Nusa Ha’apai primary school, all from the Roviana lagoon. Other schools in Noro who will also similar assistance are Rawaki primary school, Baerofo primary school and a community near Noro called Tungi village.”
Gina also reported, the group’s team leader Tony Bell said their Roviana visit is part of an ongoing effort to help boost the school’s administration capacities.
