S.I.V.B & SOLOMON AIRLINES HOST MAJOR AUSTRALIAN FILM CREW
The Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau and the Solomon Airlines have combined resources to host a major Australian travel film crew on an 11-day shoot travel in various parts of Solomon Islands.
A statement from Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau yesterday says the program is all part of an SIVB ‘master plan’ designed to highlight the huge array of activities international visitors can enjoy while visiting the Solomon Islands.
It is part of a major thrust aimed at showcasing the many and varied attractions the Solomon Islands offers to international travelers.
While in the Solomon Islands, the crew will visit Munda, Rendova, Gizo, Isabel, Savo, the Florida Islands and the Marovo Lagoon with Solomon Airlines providing both international and domestic air support.
Meanwhile, Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau CEO, Josefa Tuamoto said the in-depth planning for the visit had been designed to expose how much the Solomon Islands has to offer its visitors, irrespective of taste or budget.
The visit is organized by Channel Seven Australia’s ‘The Travel Bug’.
