Seif Ples Launches Comprehensive Database to Enhance SAFENET Helpline Management
Seif Ples is proud to announce the development of a comprehensive database designed to improve the management of data related to calls received by the SAFENET Helpline.
This initiative aims to enhance the tracking of service reach across various regions and analyze the outcomes of the support provided, particularly in addressing gender-based violence (GBV) and child protection referral pathways.
With the support of technical assistance, this database has reached its final development stage. A training session for Seif Ples personnel was successfully conducted on November 14, 2024. This session provided hands-on experience in managing the database, focusing on essential skills such as data entry, retrieval, analysis, and reporting.
ChildFund has played a pivotal role in supporting Seif Ples by ensuring access to a user-friendly database tailored for tracking calls to the 132 Helpline. This system is crucial for effectively analyzing service reach and tracking outcomes. Given the sensitive nature of the data collected, the database has been developed with a strong emphasis on security and confidentiality, addressing the critical needs of Seif Ples services.
The establishment of this database is part of broader efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the GBV helpline, enabling better management of call data for analysis and reporting. The careful handling of sensitive survivor data remains paramount, as any mishandling could have significant repercussions for those seeking support.
Seif Ples remains committed to fostering a safer environment for individuals affected by gender-based violence. The implementation of this comprehensive database marks a significant step forward in providing essential support and improving service delivery.
