SIX SOLOMON ISLANDERS INCLUDED IN AUDIENCE WITH PRINCESS ANNE
Six Solomon Islanders will be amongst emerging Pacific leaders to have an audience with Britain’s Princess Royal, Her Royal Highness Princess Anne later this month.
Princess Anne will be in Vanuatu, where the Emerging Pacific Leaders Dialogue will be hosted.
The meeting is expected to provide an avenue for young leaders across the region to present plans for the long-term development and stability of the region to the Princess Royal.
SIBC News understands, the six Solomon Islanders all hold senior management posts in their respective workplaces and will be on a study tour around the region before attending a major closing ceremony with Princess Anne.
This will be the Royal Princess’ first visit to Vanuatu in forty years. She first visited the country in 1974.
