TOVOSIA & VEKE HEARING FURTHER ADJOURNED
Hearing has been further adjourned for the case against Member of Parliament for East Guadalcanal Bradley Tovosia and Guadalcanal Premier Anthony Veke at the Magistrate Court.
The trial was adjourned after two witnesses testified before the Court Monday this week.
It was set to continue this morning, but Mr Tovosia’s lawyer Nuatalie Tongarutu did not turn up in Court.
Principal Magistrate Augustine Aulanga says the delay is a concern, because it means more State money will be spent to look after the prosecution witnesses.
He adjourned it for tomorrow, but warned the Court will take necessary actions against Mrs Tongarutu if she causes further delay on the case.
