Two men charged with criminal trespass and arson have pleaded not guilty in court.

Both are charged separately, one with two counts of criminal trespass, the other one count of arson.

It was alleged they were involved with the subsequent burning down of a building in a village at Savo July last year.

They appeared in court yesterday and will re-appear February 11 to fix a trial date.

Meanwhile in a separate court case, a man from Malaita Province has denied a charge of receiving stolen property.

It was alleged he on December 2011, received stolen property worth around sixty-thousand dollars.

A pre-trial conference was fixed for this Friday.
