TULAGI MARKET VENDORS CONCERNED OVER POOR SANITATION
Market Vendors at Tulagi, Central Province are complaining about the lack of sanitation facility within the Tulagi market building.
The vendors say it is inhumane and unhealthy not to include sanitation inside the Market facility.
Lilian Keru reports from Tulagi, the public and especially market vendors are strongly asking the newly elected Central Islands Provincial Government to seriously address their concern.
But responding to the complaints, Premier Selwyn Mapuli says a number of pit toilets have been built around the nearby soccer pitch which are not being fully utilised.
Mr Mapuli adds the town Clerk will find ways to improve the Tulagi Market facility.
