He says the next four years will be full of opportunities and challenges.
“And I do pledge my full commitment in working together with you to develop our constituency and contribute positively in the process of nation building of our beloved Solomon Islands. Please know that we have four years ahead of us to work and these four years would be full of opportunities but also challenges, challenges that may test the very defining fundamental principles of our constituency as well as our nation in terms of nation building and development.”
The West Makira MP also acknowledged the last government, the National Coalition for Rural Change – NCRA Government.
“I would also like to thank the previous NCRA Government for the contributions, the development of my constituency in particular I would like to make mention of an ongoing project which is currently underway in my constituency and also in the Central Makira constituency, the manual road maintenance programme , which I know is being funded by the government and other aid donors. The ongoing programme has contributed positively to the livelihood of my people of West Makira and we are greatly indebted for that initiative.”
