High Court Judge, Justice Stephen Pallaras says women organisations in Solomon Islands can be more effective if they combine and work together.

Justice Pallaras made the statement at his official farewell ceremony at the High Court Friday.

He said women are slowly starting to mobilise, protest and unite against the issues affecting them.

But he says they are only just starting and could work much better if they combined.

Justice Pallaras says there should be one united organisation that could harness the energy, the intelligence, the anger and outrage of how women are treated in their own country.

Meanwhile, Justice Pallaras has urged leaders within these organisations to filter out, unite in strength and fight for the women of this country.

Justice Pallaras has been very vocal about issues affecting women, especially in areas of domestic violence and sexual offences.

He returns to Australia next week.
