WORK ON BUALA-HAEVO ROAD ACCESS BEGINS IN JUNE
Work to construct a road access from Buala to Haevo in Isabel Province will begin next month.
A Mike Havilea told SIBC News the project has been approved and the hired contractor will begin work on the road next month.
Mr Havilea says the project is an initiative by the MP for Maringe Kokota Varian Lonamei.
He says the road will be around ten kilometers adding, this is welcoming news for the people of Maringe Kokota.
“Why we are very happy that the road construction will begin is because using boat as the only mode of transport to reach Buala to go to the market , to visit the hospital and provincial office is very expensive. So we see this road access to Buala as a cost-cutting measure for us in the Maringe-Kokota constituency.”
Meanwhile, Undersecretary of Infrastructure Development, Jimmy Nuakia confirmed the project has been approved.
He says the Ministry will support the project in terms of fuel supply.
